Hey folks! I'm Vitor — illustrator, graphic designer and the one-man band behind Reality Shifter Studio.
The name Reality Shifter comes from my love of sci-fi and comics — and the idea of bringing images from subconscious dimensions into the real world through art. Whether it’s illustration, branding, graphic design or animation, I use these tools to tell stories and shape my visuals.
I was born in Guimarães, Portugal, and have lived in the UK and Brazil. I graduated in Graphic Design and Illustration from the University of West London in 2018, and since then I’ve worked both freelance and in creative teams across different companies.
My work ranges from craft beer labels and event posters to album artwork, book illustration, merchandising and comics. Drawing is still my favorite way to explore ideas, and my style is shaped by a mix of influences — from artists like Bruce Timm, Jamie Hewlett, Hugo Pratt, Frank Kozik and Daniel Clowes, to music, movies, literature, history and cultures from around the world.
Every project I take on is treated with care and curiosity, blending client goals with a touch of personality and cross-cultural inspiration.
When I’m not creating artwork, I’m usually messing around on my guitar, reading something weird, or playing video games — usually the kind with chunky pixels or sexy PS1-era polygons.
